Right Relations
Joyful Solidarity
I humbly acknowledge my privilege as a landed immigrant blessedly planted on both the Treaty Territories of the Attawandaron, Anishinaabeg, Wendat, and Haudenosaunee Confederacy, and the Occupied Coast Salish Territories, which includes the lands and waters of the qiqéyt (QayQayt), xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish), and səl̓ilw̓ətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. The ancestral spirits, lands, waters, and living generations of these great peoples allow me to live, create, collude, and thrive. It is my joy and honour to refute the Doctrine of Discovery and standing in solidarity with and under the guidance of my hosts, uphold the commitments of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission.

the work

the philosophy
As a veteran theatre arts professional I value new methodologies, well loved traditions, and nurturing human input. I believe theatre is transformative comfort food; pushing and stretching your perceptions of the world while feeding your soul. I’ve sought out work in varied environments with myriad personalities, with the belief that great art comes from a diverse community. I've spent years working with other artists, community organizers, apprentices, interns, volunteers (and the occasional policymaker) to create vigorous content.
